SOME ABOUT ME
I started editing when I was ten with two vhs decks and some patience. Before I ever touched an editing program I cut short films on film, ran a moviola, and learned technique from the ground up.
At 15 I got Final Cut Pro and by 17 I landed my first professional editing job, which was also my first feature, Last of the romantics.
Since then I've edited reality TV pilots for TLC; SCripted TV pilots for hbo and TBS; web content for condé Nast, Instagram and TIME MAGAZINE, as well as commercials for companies like Best Buy, Acura, and Mercedes Benz.
In 2015 I Got involved in the new medium of 360° VR with revolutionary company wevr, learning best practices for creating immersive content working on projects for samsung and sports illustrated.
After that, I kept a foot in both worlds of 2D and VR, learning some of the intricacies of Unity to help create immersive room-scale VR experiences and 360° VR player apps, but my first love will always be editing.

EXperiential gaming
Immersive VR is poised to be a world changing tech, and its effects can already be felt in the gaming community. Having been deeply involved in VR since 2015 and in gaming research since 2009, I help translate traditional mechanics to the new medium, develop and implement new mechanics for today's tech, and keep an eye on future trends in the VR/AR space to predict the best gameplay practices for what's to come.

Cold Brew Coffee
My sister and I started a bottled cold brew company in 2014, called Mason Coffee. Using a process she invented while on the road in New Zealand, we infused it with flavor using no sugar or artificial additives. It remains the best cold brew coffee in Los Angeles, if not the world.
Keto Cooking
I am a hardcore carb addict, trying to reform. On my Instagram feed, I post photos of the ketogenic meals that I cook. Everything from chorizo and eggs to straight up cake, and I always bring treats to the last days of my edits.
